New Orleans
A week in New Orleans can go so fast, between Café du Monde beignets, Abita Purple Haze at the Spotted Cat, Po’Boys at Guy’s on Magazine, Satchmo Fest on Frenchmen, grilled oysters at ACME, new friends who host me and with whom I go to the pool or see the latest Steven Soderbergh, and most of all the wet heat that never leaves you… Will summer ever end?
Anyways who wants it to end? Not me, if it means I’ve got to go home. I’d prefer stay among the gosts of New Orleans.

Les beignets du Café du Monde sont les meilleurs, ce n’est pas Dave Robicheaux qui me contredira. Et le meilleur jazz est à Preservation Hall… les bons jours ! Je n’y suis pas retourné depuis le passage de Katrina… cinq ans déjà. Et tant de souvenirs !

Tout ça me donne de plus en plus envie d’aller faire un voyage aux US…
Concernant ton retour, c’est toujours prévu pour fin septembre ? As-tu d’autres plans en tête ?

Tes photos 6 et 7 sont sûrement ensorcelées : j’entendais quasiment le groupe jouer, les notes s’envoler, l’ambiance s’électriser…
