This post is for my adventurer friends I drank beers with in Sagada, even though I can only link Alec and Solange who just arrived in Japan, like me..
I didn’t know what to do in Sagada. There’s the Museum, it’s nice and the curator is a real character, and there’s the waterfall, but I didn’t go there because in the dry season it’s not much a waterfall. Anyway.
So yeah I forgot to tell you I arrived in a bus with Solange & Alec, and an englishman, Stephen. While we were drinking beers to forget the bus ride, we met another couple, they are belgian and are called Laurent and Alexandra, if I remember right. All of them (except Stephen) forced me to order some dog. So I ate dog for a second time in my trip.
After a few beers we decide to go on the Cave Adventure. The real name is the Cave Connexion, it’s like 3 caves connected between them, you enter at one side of the mountain and you get out on the other side after 4 hours of wandering in the dark in your underwear under hundreds of thousands of stones of different sizes.
A real adventure, needless to say. With some rock climbing, some splashing around in shallow water, some walking in deeper water with your bag containing all your precious cameras over your head, and a little bit of exhibitionism.
Then I took the belgians with me to go to Echo Valley. There’s some echo, as advertised by the Lying Planet, but we didn’t get lost. The Lying Planet said it was really easy to get lost and we couldn’t.
And in the bottom of the valley there’s some hanging coffins, with real skellingtons in it.
And of course a few beers to digest all of our adventures. I forgot to tell you this about Philippines, the beer there is cheap, and it’s called San Miguel.

The coffins there are quite unusual, but anyway, what seems to be the texture of the interior of the cave looks like….a disgusting jelly (a very interesting “disgusting jelly” though)

bises!
